Client acquisition is the most costly process in any organisation. Retaining customers is therefore a paramount pursuit. However, sometimes turning down a job for a client may actually be strenghtening the bond. If there is a chance that the deliverable may fall short of the expectations, it is better to say "No". Clients will be thankful for the honesty and come back, knowing that they can depend on the supplier.

Printed business cards are still in use. With a bit of creativity, they can stand out, making the brand it represents memorable. Oftentimes though, printing by different printers or changes in the layout result in cards that are inconsistent. As even the smallest items communicate your brand, ensure that business cards are consistent. Always, in any way. Meanwhile, ensure that the vital details (phone number / email) are in a font size that allows easy reading. 

Name a country and a certain image will be evoked. Are you making use of this "Country of Origin Effect" in your marketing? Highlighting the advantages of buying YOUR product as it comes from a specific country or even city may give you an unfair advantage. Even though a product could be made abroad with the same quality, it may not enjoy the same perception, however, one can always find ways to make it work in ones' favour.
